Purpose of GreenhouseMatch

GreenhouseMatch provides independent planning and product-comparison information about greenhouses and related equipment. The site may include sizing tools, crop-capacity estimates, heating/ventilation calculations, manufacturer specification summaries, product comparisons, shopping links and explanations of greenhouse selection factors.

The site is intended to help users narrow options and understand tradeoffs. It is not a substitute for the current manufacturer instructions or project-specific professional advice.

No professional relationship

Using GreenhouseMatch does not create an engineer-client, architect-client, contractor-client, electrician-client, HVAC-client, attorney-client, agronomist-client or other professional relationship. GreenhouseMatch does not approve plans, issue permits, certify structural adequacy or supervise installation.

Calculators, finders and match results

Calculator and finder results depend on the inputs and assumptions used. A greenhouse-size recommendation, heating estimate, ventilation target, crop-capacity result, project-cost range or product match is a planning result—not a guarantee that a product is appropriate, safe, code-compliant, available or sufficient for every condition at your site.

You are responsible for entering reasonable information, reviewing the stated assumptions and verifying any result that affects structural design, electrical work, fuel-burning equipment, local permits, safety or a significant purchase.

Manufacturer and specification information

GreenhouseMatch may compile information from manufacturer manuals, drawings, product pages, warranties, technical documents and reputable secondary sources. Product details can change, and different sizes or model generations can have different specifications. GreenhouseMatch does not guarantee that every published field remains current after the date it was checked.

Current manufacturer documentation for the exact product/configuration takes priority over a GreenhouseMatch summary when making a final purchase or installation decision.

Structural, weather and local requirements

Snow-load, wind-speed, anchoring and similar values may be published under specific assumptions. Nothing on GreenhouseMatch should be interpreted as a site-specific structural certification.
